A Brie made of pasteurized milk is an imitation of or an alternative to the famous Brie de Meaux. The Bries from Président are made in the USA and are very popular. The soft-ripened bloomy cheese has a soft texture and is full of flavors but is less dominant and pungent than real deal, the Brie de Meaux.
For those of you who don't like to eat cheeses of raw milk and prefer a dessert with a slightly weaker presence, this Brie is a good choice.
A wheel of Brie of 2 pounds makes a nice centre piece on your cheese board.
