Fleur Verte (green flower) is a rindless soft creamy cheese covered in fresh green herbs and pink peppercorns. It is made of pasteurized goat's milk but not very goaty in flavor at all; there is some sweetness to it which is not that usual in fresh goat cheese. The shape of the cheese like a flower, hence the name Fleur Verte. It has a texture of a very moist cheesecake and the herbs and peppercorn that cover the cheese create a beautiful contrast with the white of the cheese.
The herbs (thyme and tarragon) and pink peppercorns do not overpower the creaminess of the cheese; the cheese is mild, even if you bite one of the peppercorns; the herbs and the peppercorns complement the cheese, they are not overpowering - overall a delightful cheese we encourage you to try, even if you are not a goat cheese lover.
