Jarlsberg Lite is obvisouly the low-fat variety of Jarlsberg. Jarlsberg Lite also has the characteristic large, round holes. It is pliable and can be cut with a cheese slicer. The taste is mild, slightly sweet and nutty.

Jarlsberg Lite is only available in a rindless variety, and is not well suited for cooking, unlike the standard Jarlsberg variety.
