Picture of landaff cheese

Deb and Doug Erb operate Springvale Farms in Landaff, NH. Landaff was named after the Bishop of Llandaff, Wales, chaplain to England's King George III. Deb and Doug were fascinated by the historical link and wanted to make a cheese traditional to that area of Wales; Caerphilly. We named our cheese Landaff Cheese after the Bishop of Llandaff, Wales, chaplain to England's King George III.

Landaff is a farmstead cheese made from raw cow's milk. It is a mild, semi-firm cheese with a delicious combination of flavors, tangy with a clean finish. The open and rich buttery texture of this gourmet cheese comes with a natural, cave-aged rind. Landaff cheese is aged in the cellars at Jasper Hill Farm in Greensboro, VT. This farmstead cheese received a 3rd in the Open Class semi-soft cheese at the World Championship Cheese Contest in 2012.

Landaff melts beautifully for cooking, and makes a wonderful addition to any cheese plate.

We cut and wrap this cheese in wedges of 1 pound and 8 ounces.
