Thomasville Tomme is an aged raw cow's milk cheese that is straw colored with a mellow flavor and soft texture. The Sweet Grass Dairy purchases the milk for this cheese from a co-op who gets the milk from the parents of the owners of the Sweet Grass Dairy, thus the milk stays in the family.

Thomasville Tomme is a fine gourmet cheese with a thin natural, tan colored rind dusted with white and grey mold and the yellow paste has few small eyes and is. The paste is firm and the taste is tangy and somewhat salty.

The cheese is named after the home town of the Dairy and is made in 10-pound wheels and we cut and wrap it in wedges of approximately 1 pound and 8 ounces.
