Rising Sun Farms has a wonderful line of Cheese Tortas, all varieties contain exquisite farm fresh cream cheese, tastefully blended and layered with fresh organic herbs, spices and other delicacies. These gourmet tortas are all natural, organic delicacies. In 2001 Risng Sun Farms received an Award of Excellence for the entire Cheese Torta Line from the American Tasting Institute. They also received many rewards for the individual Cheese Tortas.
The 9.5-oz. Cheese Tortas are individually packed and may serve 8 - 12 people, they are easy and convenient; the perfect appetizer or a base for soups and sauces.
We sell 5 different varieties of tortas:
Artichoke Lemon, with succulent artichokes, zesty lemon juice and fresh garlic and organic basil.
Gorgonzola, a blend of silky Gorgonzola with cream cheese and pears, crowned with a mixture of cranberries and roasted hazelnuts.
Marionberry, with marionberries, apricots, cranberries and roasted hazelnuts. This Torta was awarded a third place in the Cheese Spread Flavor Added Category at the American Cheese Society Competition of 2007.
Mediterranean, a blend of premium cheeses, roasted sweet red peppers and Kalamata Olives.
Sweet Pepper and Chipotle, cream cheese with sweet roasted red and green peppers, dried tomatoes and a blend of savory spices.
