Chestnut Honey is produced between the end of June and the first half of July from mountain sweet-chestnut flowers, in the area of Trento, in Northern Italy.
This Mieli Thun honey is extraordinarily versatile and is the richest in mineral salts. The color is amber, sometimes dark amber with reddish hues. It has an aromatic, herbal and pungent aroma and flavor with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
