Cubeb Peppercorn is freshly harvested from See Smell Taste's own farms in Indonesia, cubebs (also known as tailed pepper - the fruit stem is still attached) are harvested green and sun-dried to a deep brown-black. They have a warm, pleasant aroma, lightly peppery but also allspice-like, with a whiff of eucalyptus. When raw the flavor is strongly pine-like, pungent, and glowing with a lingering, bitter note, but heat brings allspice note.
