Devonshire is in the south of England, on the coast, and well known for it's very rich and creamy dairy products. Clotted Cream is a thick yellow cream made by heating non-pasteurised cow's milk and then leaving it in shallow pans for several hours. During this time, the cream content rises to the surface and forms clots.
Clotted cream is generally served during tea time on scones with a jam. These jars contain 6 ounces of English Clotted Cream.
