In 1928, as two Russian immigrants sailed into New York City, their first image of America was the Statue of Liberty. Inspired by Lady Liberty, they were determined to start a cheese company and named it Liberte. That same year, upon settling in Canada, Liberte started to produce cream cheese and cottage cheese and later yogurt, goat milk butter and Fresh Goat Cheese. Goat milk butter is whiter than cows milk butter and easier to digest for some.

Each package contains 8.9 ounces.
