A friend brought this cheese torta to a luncheon. I'd never had it before and was thoroughly empressed with the flavor and texture. Everyone there commented on what a great cheese torta it was, but I guess I oohed and ahhed enough that my generous friend gave me one as a gift the following week. It wasn't long before i had the opportunity to play it forward. I brought it to a dinner I'd been invited to. The torta was a huge hit. Such a nice balance between the cream cheese and gorgonzola. Great with a bottle of wine. From a 10AM brunch to a midnight snack, you cannot go wrong with this one. It is a delight.
