San Giacomo's Saba is obtained from the long cooking of the must of local grapes, Lambrusco and Trebbiano; the same grapes used for producing balsamic vinegar.
Saba is sweet, Balsamic vinegars and creams or often sweet-and-sour. This gourmet liquid has the consistency of a syrup, in Italian it is called a miele d'uva (a grape honey).
