Olive Oil Toasts are made from a traditional recipe in a family run bakery in the heart of Crete, Greece. The unbleached flour is milled on the island of Crete. The olive oil is first, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil from the region of Sitia in eastern Crete. These toasts are all natural; no preservatives are ever used.
Crete has a centuries-old tradition of baking and eating toasts and rusks. The toasts are crisp and crunchy with the flavor of olive oil.
