Paccheri Ondulati is made by the craftsmen at Maestri Pastai; the holders of the Neapolitan pasta making secret that is handed down from generation to generation. These craftsmen re-introduce the ancient flavors using new techniques. This gives life to a simple handcrafted product but at the same time preserves ancient traditions.
Paccheri is a short ribbed stright cut pasta. People from Naples also call this pasta 'paccare' a dialect word which means slap. Probably their thick and heavy consistency is associated in the popular tradition to a nice good slap.
Each bag of Paccheri Ondulati contains 1.1 lbs. of pasta.
