Tiptree is the name of a high quality jam, but just as importantly, a village in the heart of Essex countryside in the UK and the place where in 1885 Arthur Charles Wilkin first experimented with jam-making and to this day they still specialize in fruit growing on the Tiptree estates.
The fruit used at Tiptree can come from the company's own farms, from local growers or from trusted overseas sources. Whatever the source, Wilkin and Sons make sure that only the very best fruit is used in every case and every single fruit is hand sorted before it reaches the boiling pans.
