Ines Rosales made Sweet Olive Oil Tortas by hand in a small village near Seville, Spain in 1910. Today, there is a plant in the same village, using the original recipe of the founder Ines Rosales. Local woman still flatten the tortas by hand, and they still hand-wrap each torta in wax paper. These are the authentic torta de aceite known throughout Andalusia and all of Spain.
Theses tortas are all natural, made with extra virgin olive oil and the finest ingredients. They are light, delicate and crisp. Slightly sweet with a hint of anise; they are great with cheeses, tea and coffee. Enjoy them for breakfast, as a mid-day snack or anytime during the day.
Each wrapper contains 6 delicious snacks.
