Our Great American Cheddars Sampler is just an example of 4 out of many favorites.Flagship - a semi-hard cow's milk cheese with a uniquely robust, nutty flavor. It is made with pasteurized milk, carefully aged for 1 year, slightly crumbly (8 oz).
Clothbound Cheddar by Cabot - a traditional cheddar with a natural rind and bandaged with muslin . A simple, approachable and balanced cheddar with layers of lingeringly nutty, slightly fruity and nearly buttery flavor, while finishing with the mellowness of caramel undertones (8 oz.).
Apple Smoked Cheddar - a white cheddar that is smoked over applewood and hand rubbed with paprika. An ivory-white interior and a supple, moist texture that is typical of Wisconsin Carr Valleys cheddar. The flavors are a balance of the sweetness of milk, light smoke and the spiciness of the paprika (8 oz.).
2-years Old Grafton Village Cheddar - an outstanding aged cheddar with a smooth finish, and has drier, crumbly texture (8 oz.).
We also added a jar of Strawberry Fig Preserve - a preserve that is made with cheese is mind; a great match for cheddar cheese.
