Organic apples and organic apple vinegar are used to make this Italian Apple Cider Balsamic Vinegar. This syrupy deliciousness is made according to the same principles for making balsamic vinegar.
San Giacomo, the maker of Balsamela does not add colors, preservatives or thickeners. Instead the wonderful elixir is based on apple juice from apples from Trentino and apple vinegar. While cooking the juice, the room is filled with the sweetening smell of apples.
Balsamela is not as strong and dominant as the traditional balsamic vinegar and is therefore great for seasoning meat, or vegetables and delicious on ricotta, fruit and with soft and delicate cheese.
