Lazzaroni Amaretti Cookie Snaps are a popular item in the Italian kitchen. They are baked slowly and carefully and the result is a crunchy one-bite Italian macaroons with a subtle almond flavor.

Lazzaroni developed the recipe for this Amaretti Cookie Snap back in 1718, and the same recipe is still used today.
Ingredients:sugar, egg white, apricot kernels, wheat flour, caramelized sugar, leavening (ammonium bicarbonate).
