Roth Cheese is the maker of the Buttermilk Blue cheese; a raw milk cheese made from Jersey cow's milk and inoculated with Penicillium Roqueforti. This cheese is matured for at least 60 days during which it is rotated frequently to create one of the great American blues.

The pale creamy paste of this gourmet blue shows a lot of blue, and the flavor is piqant and creamy at the same time, tangy but not overwhelmingly assertive.

It is a great cheese to crumble in a green salad, or serve on your cheese board. Buttermilk Blue is a recipient of numerous awards in local and international competitions.

Nice appearance. Good Texture. First you will notice the smell. This is definitely Blue Cheese!! A real nice buttery texture followed by that wonderful blue cheese taste. Strong, but no way too strong. One of the very best I have ever tasted.

I love this cheese. The buttermilk gives it a bright sharpness that is delicious. It works well in salads as a pop of interesting flavor.
