Daneko's Danish Fontina cheese was inspired by the Italian cheese Fontina. This Danish version has a milder and more cream-like flavor and it is aged for less time than its cousin.
The end result is a pliable cheese with semi-soft texture and a mild, milky flavor. Great for cheese and crackers, or for kids. It goes well with light red wines; stronger wines will overpower the cheese.
