Red Apple smoked cheeses are made with milk sourced from some of the oldest dairy farms in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. Prior to smoking, the cheese is extra-aged to enhance the flavor. The cheese masters then slowly and meticulously cold-smoke each piece of cheese for 6 hours using a special aged apple pulp and hardwood. You might even taste a hint of apple in this classic smoked gouda.
The cheeses are all natural, use no artificial additives or preservatives, and are suitable for vegetarians. Smoked gouda adds another dimension to mac & Cheese, burgers, pizza and more. Try in a fruit salad or on a cheese platter.
