Karst is an original, American artisan cheese, which has been cave-aged to perfection in the cheese cellars at Jasper Hill in Vermont. This cheese is made with a blend of Cheddar and Gruyere starter cultures and is aged with a natural rind.

Made from pasteurized cow's milk, the flavor of this firm gourmet cheese is sweet and nutty. It would be a great cheese for cheese sauces in Mac & cheese, or any other pasta sauce, grilled cheese, cheese on a burger, or a quiche.
