This Dutch Vermeer Cheese is naturally matured for 22 weeks, so it is a rather young cheese. This award winning cheese has a delicate, fruity taste.
Vermeer has less fat (20g fat/100 g cheese) and less salt (620 mg sodium/100 g cheese) than a regular Gouda cheese (386g fat/100 gr cheese and 710 mg sodium/100 g cheese). It is still full of flavor and would be a great cheese for a sandwich, mac & cheese or a salad.
