A Spanish goat cheese infused and soaked in red wine, that's Vino Cabra. Beautiful purple veining are visible in the pale paste of the cheese.
There are similarities with a Drunken Goat cheese; they're both made from goat cheese and soaked in wine. The Vino Cabra is also pierced with red wine and thus has a stronger presence in flavor and looks.
A true contender on a cheese board and if you like goat cheese, certainly one you need to try.
Ingredients:pasteurized goat's milk, red wine, salt, rennet, calcium chloride (stabilizer), egg lysozyme (preservative), cheese cultures. On inedible rind: red wine, natamycin (preservative).
