Rich and Garlicky. The Halkidiki olive is named for the Halkidiki Penninsula in Greece. These large pale green olives are native to the Halkidiki region of Greece and remains exclusive to the region and parts of Northern Greece.
These olives are pitted and stuffed with a whole garlic clove then marinated in salt and sunflower oil. Add these flavorful olives to your next charcuterie board as they pair wonderfully with cured meats and aged cheeses like Cabot Clothbound Cheddar, and a bold red wine like Merlot.
