Runamok Maple is located in northern Vermont, along the western slopes of Mount Mansfield. Spanning 1,100 acres their dedicated crew taps 81,000 trees to bring you one of Mother Nature’s most exquisite pleasures: pure maple syrup.
Throughout the sugaring season, the flavor of the syrup varies due to temperature, moisture and acts of nature that remain a mystery even to the experts. As it changes, Runamok constantly taste it until they hit the absolute peak of flavor. Since this is the syrup they also bottle for themselves, they call it The Sugarmaker’s Cut.
Along with the pure maple syrup, they have created a entire collection of infused, smoked and barrel-aged maple syrups.

You read it right, smoked maple syrup. Runamok Maple has found a method to develop smoked maple syrup, so now you have sweet and smoky at the same time. It took trial and error and time, but in collaboration with a southern smoke master they found a way to smoke maple syrup with pecan wood.
