Delice de Bourgogne is a French gourmet cheese and was the fruit of the imagination of the famous gastronome of the 18th century, Brillat Savarin. The cheese is made from pasteurized cow's milk with added fresh cream, resulting in a triple-cream cheese.

Delice de Bourgogne has a thin, pungent mold rind; the center of this small cheese is thicker and more consistent than the outside layer and is comparable to that of cream cheese. The outside reminds us of straw and mushroom aromas, and the interior of buttery yellow, sweet cream.

The blending of the stronger flavored exterior and the more subtle and soft interior makes Delice de Bourgogne an unusually delicate gourmet cheese; creating a smooth, melt-in-the-mouth texture. This cheese is absolutely great with Champagne.

Ingredients:pasteurized cow's milk and cream, rennet, salt, cultured milk.

This cheese is incredible and always buy a pound with every order. Sweet and salty and incredibly creamy. It is especially delicious when paired with cambozola

Quite possibly the most delicious cheese I have ever had in my life. Its buttery and creamy and literally melts in your mouth, and it has the perfect level of pungency, delicate but present.Try not to roll your eyes with pleasure every time its in your mouth. It makes brie and camembert seem like Kraft american cheese slices. When people say french gourmet cheese this is what they mean.

Unbelievably rich and creamy! Smooth and divine. Great with crispy apple wedges. I discovered Raincoast crackers today. Expensive but worth every penny. Try them with your Delice de Bourgogne. Nice!!
