Provolone & Prosciutto Tortelloni

These Nuovo Tortellonis are stuffed with aged provolone and chopped prosciutto and combined with fresh parsley and garlic in egg pasta. Tortelloni is a ring-shaped pasta that you may also refer to as a 'belly button'.

Tortelloni is the same shape as tortellini, just a little larger. Because of its larger size, this particular pasta is not added to soup, but eaten as a pasta dish with one of your favorite sauces. This Aged Provolone and Prosciutto stuffing may call for an herb sauce, cream sauce or tomato sauce.

This tortelloni is a fresh pasta that needs to be kept refrigerated. Cook in salted boiling water for 2 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain, toss with your favorite sauce and serve.


Ingredients:Filling: Provolone cheese (pasteurized whole milk, culture, salt, enzymes), ricotta cheese (pasteurized whole milk, natural white distilled vinegar, salt), romano cheese (made from cow's milk, salt, enzymes), prosciutto (pork, salt, spices), mozzarella cheese (pasteurized whole milk, culture, salt, enzymes), breadcrumbs (unbleached wheat flour, evaporate cane juice, yeast, sea salt), parsley, garlic, blended oil (olive/canola oil), salt, black pepper.
Pasta: durum flour, water, eggs, turmeric oil.
