This is a soft-ripened, double-cream cheese in texture but with its garlic and herb taste forward, it makes a statement and is a great alternative to the traditional French Bries. Champignon de Luxe Garlic (Knoblauch) is an imported German cheese from Kaserei Champignon.

The pure flavoring of the savory garlic added to this smooth double-cream cheese is a perfect blend. Its creaminess comes from the rich pasteurized cow's milk of the Allgau region in Bavaria, Germany. The little specks of finely chopped chives dance around in this cheese for just the right touch of flavor and contrast. Garlic is known for its health benefits.

You can almost taste this melted atop of your favorite steak or bread. It is a stand-alone winner or the complement to your cheese platter. Perfect with subtle-flavored red Bordeaux wines, or a flowery strong white wines.
