Either someone spilled beer into the cheese vat, or it was poured in there on purpose! Okay, it was the latter and we're pretty happy about it.

While making Irish cheddar cheese, dark brown Porter beer is poured into the cheese curds. The result is a striking brown and white marbled cheese with the flavors of both cheddar and porter all in one.

Porter beer has deep rich flavors, like that of chocolate, coffee, oats, barley and caramel. These notes are layered on top of the salty sharp flavor of the cheddar. It's match made in heaven: there's so much to taste.

This cheese is made from pasteurized cow's milk in County Limerick, Ireland. Quite impressive to look at and enjoy, this cheese pairs beautifully with more beer, wine or cider.

We cut and wrap this cheese in wedge of 7 ounces and 1 pound. You can also purchase the entire wheel of approx. 5 pounds.

Ingredients:Irish white cheddar, malted barley and hops extract, burnt sugar, barley.

We first had this cheese at an Irish pub on a cheese burger. Best Burger I ever had. Since then we have used it at home on Hamburgers , Sausage and Lamb. Always great .

Found this cheese in my local Italian store on sale. Guess the patrons did not know what they had. Striking looking cheddar yet very flavorful and mellow. It goes fantastic with my home made pale ale. You will not go wrong with ordering it.

I'm not a cheese expert, but to me this is an excellent cheddar in both taste and appearance. It was briefly carried by Costco in a three cheese assortment. For now I plan to buy a wheel to have plenty on hand.

Probably not for everybody.

This is the best cheddar cheese I have ever tasted. My new favorite. It goes great with pita crackers. You should definitely order this cheese. It will definitely become your go to favorite.
