La Tur is a creation of Caseificio dell'Alta Langa from the Piedmont region in Italy. It is made from a blend of sheep's, cow's and goat's milk, soft-ripened and very young; aged for 3-5 weeks. This gourmet cheese has a pale yellow color and an edible soft and wrinkled rind.
This small Italian cheese is triple cream, is very soft and has a mousse like interior. Its flavor is earthy and full, with a lingering lactic tang. Pair this lovely cheese with sparkling wine.
Ingredients: pasteurized cow's milk, pasteurized sheep's milk, pasteurized goat's milk, salt, rennet.
