Do you like Duck Foie Gras, but don't want to mess with an entire lobe, these slices are your answer. They are the center cuts from main lobe of authentic French-style foie gras; no need for slicing or deveining.
Take the number of slices you need, reseal the bag and put it back in the freezer; very handy. We ship these slices refrigerated, not frozen.
Cooking when frozen: Color each side for 1 minute over low heat, rest for 2 minutes for the center to thaw, then bake in oven 3-4 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cooking when thawed: Sear 2-3 minutes on each side over medium heat.
Drain on paper towels after cooking, grilling. Season to taste before serving.
One bag contains 20 slices, each approximately 1.75 ounces.
